Description

This is a very unusual piece of furniture and rarely seen. Made in lovely figured oak, with boxwood ebony and rosewood stringing to the front and side panels. Also having lovely shaped dogtooth decoration to the cornice. The hinges to the single door are of great quality and embossed in an Art Nouveau / Arts and Crafts style.

This is a very slim piece of furniture, which would be ideal in a restaurant to hang coats, or even in a hallway which is what it was originally made for. The inside is fitted with two glass panels to allow the light in, a great design detail and perfect to see where your gloves and shoes are on the top shelf. Also having original swivel and stationary brass hooks to hang your coats. It is a really lovely original piece of furniture.
